“I started with the Wombats in 2014 when I was a student in the Athletic Therapy program at the University of Winnipeg. Since then, working with this team has allowed me to expand my knowledge base as an AT in an environment that doesn’t feel like work. I love the pace of this sport and that no day is ever the same. This team has always kept me on my toes with all the unique ways they may get injured.
Since the start, I have become an Athletic Therapy Student Field Supervisor to offer placements to students who wish to gain experience in the field and develop their skills in this fast pace sport and develop Athletic Therapy coverage in the sport of Rugby.”
