OFF SEASON ACTIVITIES

The Wombats engage in many off season events and activities:

• Dues Night – late March – our annual get together to kick off another great rugby season.
• The Rookie Party – late July or early August. This provides new members to the club an opportunity to meet members both old and new.
• Formal Banquet – late October – allows for all members to get together and celebrate individual and team success on and off the pitch.
• Christmas Get Together – last Saturday before Christmas – allows everyone to get together and spread some Christmas cheer with their extended Wombat family.

Wombats have created a social league hockey team. We have found other ways to stay connected through touch rugby or group workout sessions in the winter as well.

The Wombats have teamed up with personal trainers at the University of Manitoba in order to organize personalized workout sessions.
